PROJECT TITLE:
Establishment of a centre for comprehensive health care to be provided to aging population by means of establishment of a Geriatric Ward, upgrading of the existing Physiotherapy Ward, acquisition of equipment and carrying out of educational and training activities aimed at patients and personnel.
PROJECT SUMMARY:
Today only the Independent Public Specialist Hospital in Lębork (the Applicant) provides complex healthcare to the inhabitants of the poviat of Lębork and currently does not feature a geriatric medical treatment. The subject of the project is the establishment of a Geriatric Ward by means of reconstructing and extending the existing Physiotherapy Ward including acquisition of equipment required for Ward purposes. The Project includes reconstruction and upgrading of the former laundry building with rooms adaptation, acquisition of therapeutic and physical rehabilitation equipment, purchase of medical equipment for both Wards (105 pcs), training sessions for medical personnel (46 participants), implements the Elderly Persons Stimulation Programme (1175 participants), provides information and project publicity activities (health promotion and education).
The Project, aimed at reducing or preventing lifestyle diseases is addressed to elderly persons, inclusive of non self-reliant elderly persons residing within the area of the poviat of Lębork and all project activities are organized with the needs of the elderly people.
Activities planned to be carried out within the framework of the Project:
- Management – PLN 149,660.00
- Information and promotion – PLN 25,000.00
- Establishment of a Geriatric Ward – PLN 2,768,788.00
- Upgrading of the existing Physiotherapy Ward – PLN 2,368,276.00
- Prophylaxis Programme – PLN 1,471,500.00
- Personnel training – PLN 100,400.00

Modernisation in Progress:
W SPS ZOZ w Lęborku odbyło się oficjalne otwarcie zmodernizowanego traktu porodowego. Przebudowa i remont Zespołu Porodowego jest częścią projektu finansowanego z Programu Rządowego Funduszu Polski Ład – Program Inwestycji Strategicznych. Efektem prac są m.in. trzy sale porodowe dostosowane do porodów rodzinnych oraz sala cięć cesarskich wykonana zgodnie z wymogami dla pomieszczeń bloku operacyjnego. Sale są wyposażone w nowoczesne instalacje dostarczające media i gazy medyczne, jak również umożliwiające ciągły monitoring funkcji życiowych.
